I believe in enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
I’m 27 years old, a new wife and dog-mom, living in sunny Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. I have a love for things that make me feel good. Things like a delicious bowl of pasta, an intense workout that exhausts (and elates) me, a glass of Chenin Blanc on a Friday night after a manic week, a relaxing bubble bath on a Sunday afternoon or a stroll on the beach with my husband at my side and our fur kids running in front.
I’ve learnt to have gratitude for these small, everyday things in my life. I want to tell you about them and maybe you can share in the joy I’ve experienced by trying them too.
I have also learnt that life is about balance.
Lets just say eating a giant bowl of pasta everyday is probably not going to help me on my journey to being my best (or healthiest) self. Recently it’s become apparent to me that learning to have balance: listening to and taking care of my body, mind and soul - will make those small pleasures so much better when I choose to indulge. I hope that by sharing my experiences, I can help other women to do the same.
All my love,
